- Oct. 9, Chili feed for the adults only, at the Pettigrews. Meal time is 5:30. Come as early as 4:30 to sit around the fire. Bring lawn chairs and you may bring desert, salads, vegetables, and/or bread. Chili, rice, and apple cider will be provided. Park on 10th St to avoid blocking the drive. There will be a sign-up sheet.

- Oct. 22-23, Ladies' retreat in Harmony, MN.
- Oct. 24, Adopt-a-Highway road cleanup at 1 p.m.
- Oct. 30, Ogden Church of Christ, Ogden, IA, invites everyone to a a series of lessons. There are scheduled men's and ladies' classes. Registration at 9a.m., and lessons start at 10a.m. and conclude at 3p.m. Last year, lunch was served.
